The suburban society was register in 1916.The management of the elementary school was taken over by the society in 1916.The school was then shifted to the building belonging to Shri.B.V.Subramani Iyer, one of the founder members in kalingarayan street. The society applied to the coimbatore municipality for allotment of a site to the elementary school and the present site was allited.Five class rooms were constructed and the school from kalingarayan street was shifted to the new site. After some time the school was upgraded to a middle school.the site where the present matriculation school is located was purchased and the necessary building for the middle school was constructed.

Looking back...... The then residents of Ramnagar headed by Shri.Subramania Iyer started an elementary school for the promotion of education in the suburbs and christened as BRAHMIN EXTENSION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The founder donated his site and building for the School and started in 1915 with 30 pupils and one teacher on roll. The financial hiccups and administrative problems led to the formation of RAMNAGAR SUBURBAN SOCIETY that was registered on 22ND December 1916, with Shri. Ganapathy Iyer as President and K.M.Narayanan Iyer as Secretary. The Society took the school under its wings and the subsequent flight towards the pinnacle of glory.
